Wisconsin’s youth suicide rate is nearly a third higher than the national rate. On Thursday the USA TODAY NETWORK-Wisconsin held a day of action in Madison, featuring Governor Scott Walker as a speaker. The event is part of the organization’s Kids in Crisis series, which is in its second year. A news editor joins us to talk about what proposals were included in the governor’s budget to adding youth mental health support in schools.
