Songwriter Showcase encourages the creation and sharing of original music by regional singer songwriters. Since her days in the Twin Cities playing in jam, Celtic, and folk-rock bands to her current home in the Quad Cities as a solo touring artist, Russo continues to perform her own free-spirited blend of Rhythm & Roots.

William Maeda (violin) and Owen Driscoll (bassoon) will play virtuoso music in preparation for their concerto debuts with the Birch Creek Performance Center Symphony Orchestra the following week. The Viroqua Community Band will be presenting a concert on Friday, July 4th at the Sherry-Butt House in Viroqua. The concert begins at 12:30 pm. The concert is sponsored by the Vernon County Historical Society and is part of their annual “Strawberry Shortcake” Fundraiser.
