A concert by the professional group of 11 players entitled “BirdSongs” features music of Arthur Bird in his Serenade for Winds, the “Birdcatcher” arias from the opera Magic Flute by Mozart, Messiaen’s “Abyss of the Birds,” a solo flute concerto called Il Cardellino (The Goldfinch) by Vivaldi.
