The Seed of Promise will use an array of beautiful choral music to trace the sacred lineage from Jesus to God in the glorious Mary of the Angels chapel. Through reflective and profound music, we will explore themes of faith, promise, and the enduring power of love that transcends time. This concert will feature music of older composers including Josquin, Byrd, and J.S. Bach, alongside more contemporary composers including James MacMillian, Arvo Pärt, Randall Thompson, and Rosephanye Powell. This concert invites you to reflect on the profound legacy that shapes us all, both spiritually and personally.
Thank you to the Franciscan Sisters of Perpetual Adoration for their hospitality.
