Lanesboro Arts is thrilled to announce the outdoor summer music series Rhythms on the Root. The series takes place at Gateway Park and offers an infectious range of musical genres from regionally acclaimed bands.

This year’s concert will take place from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 12, 2025. Tickets are $20 General Admission and $15 Lanesboro Arts Members (free for youth age 12 and under, but ticket still required).

Seating will be first come, first served general admission. Audience members are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs or blankets to sit on in the park.

Live music by Saltydog, a funk jam improvisational band. Saltydog takes the audience & band on a journey through their playfully crafted folk driven tunes inspired by the likes of everyone from The Talking Heads, The Band, those classic country and jam band staples along with everyone in between.
