The Palmyra Eagle Community Band will present a Christmas concert on Sunday, December 7 at 7:00 pm at the Palmyra United Methodist Church. Enjoy old favorites like “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” and “The Chipmunk Song” and discover new rhythms with “Christmas Swings” and “A Jazzy Christmas.” Celebrate the season with the low brass in “Tuba Christmas.” The band will feature a very special duet featuring Ellie Hawes on tenor sax and Dr. Bob Miller on baritone for “Baby It’s Cold Outside.” Director Emeritus, Ed Pierce, will lead a Community Sing Along as Jim Neist conducts the band in a musical celebration of holiday favorites. The concert is free, and a cookie reception will be enjoyed by all who attend.
