This concert was inspired by English Tudor Revival architecture in Oshkosh. Examples are the Public Museum and Paine Art Center and Gardens. It evokes a profound sense of “comfort of home” with its inherent warmth and solidity. It is quaint and romantic. It makes us feel well-protected and grounded. It offered us a perfect place for gathering and retreating from the outside world.
