At a time when an unprecedented 100+ million people have been forced from their homes worldwide, the Ashland Chamber Music Society presents From Exile, a string quartet program of musical stories of hope from immigrant and refugee communities. The Crossing Borders Music String Quartet from Chicago will share music of hope and solidarity from displaced people including Haitians, Palestinians, Syrians, Peruvians, and the Rohingya from Myanmar. Compositions include works by Arian Abbas, Rudy Perrault, Sinn Sisamouth, Tarek Younis, and Daniel Bernard Roumain.
