Kickapoo Valley Reserve Friends will celebrate the holidays on Saturday, Dec. 6 from noon to 5 pm at the KVR Visitor Center, S3661 State Hwy 131, La Farge. Funds raised at the Holiday Happening support trail maintenance, habitat improvement, and the KVR’s educational programs.

The Holiday Happening will feature live musical acts starting with the The Burch Brothers at 12 pm, Pianoman Steve Hall at 1pm, La Farge Music Students at 2pm, Whiskey Chiken at 3pm, and Pam Hughes String Students at 4pm. A soup, salad and bread lunch will be served from noon until 3 pm, for $10/adult and $5/kids under 12. Purchase evergreen wreaths throughout the afternoon or join the cookie walk any time between noon and 4 pm.
