Cozy Christmas Eve Kits with a book and all the goodies to make your holiday magical! And Local Authors with their Christmas themed books to warm your heart this holiday season –perfect to cuddle up with on those cold December nights!

All day long at The Cozy Prose event, The Bookstore will be filled to the brim with bookish delights of all kinds. A perennial favorite, Blind Date for the Holidays, features beautifully wrapped books whose outsides hint at the pleasure within. This year, for the first time, Christmas-y Mystery Boxes – beautiful on the outside and mysterious and fun on the inside!

Also for the first time this year, Christmas Eve Book Kits. In Iceland, the tradition is for families to give each other books and spend the evening bundled up cozy and snug, reading and sipping hot cocoa. Caramel Crisp Bookstore will have an assortment of lovely Christmas Eve kits, complete with book, hot chocolate and more, that will help your family to create this experience in your very own home!

For that special hometown touch, Caramel Crisp Bookstore will welcome a veritable blizzard of great local authors! Malissa Chapin, writer of fun, music themed cozy mysteries, including “Murder Goes Caroling; A Piper Hadyn Piano Mystery” will be joining with all of her books, perfect for holiday giving. Popular Christian novelist Emily Conrad will also be on hand with her wonderful and heartwarming romances, including her brand new release, just in time for the holidays: Risking His Heart. What a great book to cuddle up with during those cold December nights! Also visiting the Caramel Crisp Bookstore for the holidays will be Amanda Lauer, author of A Very Chapel Hills Christmas. This delightful book is set in a fictionalized version of Neenah, Wisconsin!

Who doesn’t love fun and original stickers, including ones that are Holiday themed. The Caramel Crisp Bookstore will have those too, created by local artist Jill Grambow. Meet the artist and peruse her treasure trove of sticker fun!

You will never find a more warm, wonderful and cozy way to get that holiday spirit than spending a day with the folks at the Caramel Crisp Bookstore! Mark your calendars for Saturday, December 13th, today! This event is sponsored by The Caramel Crisp Bookstore, Oshkosh’s very own independent bookseller!
