Celebrate the birthday of ‘The Boy Who Lived’ with the crew at Caramel Crisp Corner in Oshkosh! The festivities will begin on Sunday, July 27th at 1 pm, with magical fun and activities inside and outside the store.

Sip some butter beer, check out tons of great Harry Potter merch, and channel your favorite Harry Potter character in the costume contest! Get a picture taken in our Hogwarts photo booth! There will be snakes worthy of Slytherin House and a trivia contest to test your Harry Potter knowledge!

Elle Binder will be there with her hand made Harry Potter bookmarks – and she will help you make your own! We will also welcome Local Artists, who magic their wild imaginings into physical form for all of us to enjoy.

The Bookies at Caramel Crisp are very excited to announce that Wisconsin author Christoper Micklos, writer of “Tick Town”, will be on hand to meet and greet our guests and sign his book! “Tick Town” is a fun throwback to the days of pulp horror and has a distinctly Wisconsin feel! Chris is an alumnus of UW Oshkosh and has won awards for both for his film making and his writing.

There will also be a very special Harry Potter edition of Blind Date with a Book — a great array of fantasy fiction (YA and young reader) all wrapped up and marked 25% off the original price!
