It may be a few days before a decision is made on whether to penalize Bulletproof Securities for operating in Wisconsin without a license.
That license was granted yesterday by the state Department of Safety and Professional Services after a month-long investigation.
Iron County District Attorney Marty Lipske says he’s waiting to read the investigation’s findings before he decides on any action. The state is expected to send the report by tomorrow.

Two complaints filed last month with the state – including one by the Sierra Club – cite a law that says anyone who operates as a security agent without a Wisconsin license could face jail time, fines, and is not be eligible for a license for one year.
