100 years ago, the Racine Continuation School opened its doors.The first-of-its-kind “vocational school” in Wisconsin offered young people job training that was traditionally gained on-the-job.From those roots came what is today’s Wisconsin Technical College System, which is holding a two-day celebration this week, looking at the system’s mission, both past and present. WPR’s Terry Bell talked about this observance with Wisconsin Technical College System President Dan Clancey.
