UW System readies for large budget cut

All University of Wisconsin campuses will get more flexibility to spend their state funding, but Madison won’t get as much freedom as it wanted under the budget the legislature’s Joint Finance Committee will pass this afternoon.As Shawn Johnson reports, the entire system will still have to deal with a quarter-billion dollar cut in state aid.
