The University of Wisconsin-Madison’s La Follette School of Public Affairs has placed fourth worldwide for its academic research, according to a new comprehensive higher education ranking.
The Journal of Public Affairs Education compiled a variety of measures to compare universities. La Follette School Director Susan Yackee said that among the measures was a look at how frequently faculty is published in top academic journals.
“These rankings actually look at what faculty are producing,” said Yackee. “And it turns out we have some of the top faculty in the country in public administration right now.”
