As part of a new collaboration between Catholic schools in the Green Bay area and St. Norbert College announced on Monday, teachers and staff at all schools will get financial incentives to stay on the job and tuition breaks for their children.
Nine schools in the region are in the program, as is St. Norbert College.
Reverend Dane Radecki heads Green Bay Area Catholic Education, also known as GRACE.

“All of the GRACE, Notre Dame, and St. Norbert staff and faculty will receive at least a 50 percent tuition discount for their children to attend any of these schools,” said Radecki.
Said Tom Kunkel, St. Norbert’s president: “This will incentivize our faculty and staff at all of our organizations to keep students in the Catholic system by making it more affordable.”
Graduates of St. Norbert’s education department will also get a $5,000 bonus if they work in the Catholic school system for three years.
The money comes from a private, anonymous donor.
