Assembly Democrats say Republicans should call an extraordinary session to pass bills aimed at creating jobs in Wisconsin.
Democratic Minority Leader Peter Barca said Republicans moved quickly in a recent extraordinary session to pass bills that rewrite campaign finance laws and dismantle the state’s elections agency.
“So why don’t we try to bring the kind of focus and energy to this issue, which obviously we are struggling with in Wisconsin on layoffs, on job performance, on middle-class empowerment and have an extraordinary session centered on those topics,” said Barca

Among the bills Barca said Republicans should consider is one that would reorganize Wisconsin’s flagship economic development agency.
