Anthony Shadid, acclaimed foreign correspondent and UW Journalism grad, dies

New York Times correspondent Anthony Shadid is being eulogized as the most giftedforeign correspondent of his generation. He began his career in journalism at the University of Wisconsin in Madison where he returned often between reporting stints in Palestine and Iraq. Gilman Halsted reports.
