Zorba often helps folks battle nail fungus. He often recommends a “nail polish” style solution. He just as often forgets the name. It is Penlac. From the mayo website:

“You paint it on your infected nails and surrounding skin once a day. After seven days, you wipe the piled-on layers clean with alcohol and begin fresh applications. Daily use of Penlac for about one year has been shown to help clear up some nail fungal infections.”

Zorba also recommends the anti-fungal Rx drug, Lamisil. Zorba suggests utilizing the “pulse dose” method of Lamisil when you’re unsure of a fungal infection. (It’s 250mg once a day for one week on and three weeks off.) Be sure to talk to your dermatologist or family doc!
