Tonight’s showcase features music from: Italy, Findland, Ethiopia, Pakistan, Poland, India, Australia, Canada, Curaçao, Jamaica, West Africa, and Estonia, with artists Bill Withers, Buena Vista Social Club, Cracow Klezmer Band, Paul Robeson, Cassandra Wilson, Gypsy Groovz Orchestra Goes Tutti Mundi, with styles grounded in Saharan desert blues, Sufi, roots and traditional music, salsa, mambo, Cajun, reggae and Afrobeat. see no. 4

Hear the broadcast streamed Saturdays 5 p.m. Central on WPR’s NPR News & Music Network at wpr.org and at 7 p.m. on 90.7 in Milwaukee.
