This Thursday, August 27th at 10 am, Menominee Nation Tribal Chairman Gary Besaw appears on Wisconsin Public Radio’s Route 51 to discuss the recent advisory vote by tribal members to legalize both medicinal and recreational marijuana on their reservation in North East Wisconsin.

Host Glen Moberg will also ask Besaw about Governor Walker’s rejection of the tribe’s proposal to open a casino in Kenosha, and more broadly, about the opportunities and challenges facing the Menominee, and how their lives are shaped by their history, culture and values.
