Provosts for the University of Wisconsin-Superior decided last fall to cut 24 majors and minors, as well as one graduate-level program. Many students were outraged by the move and faculty say they were not consulted during the decision making process. Now, new emails obtained by the American Federation of Teachers show that UW-Superiors may have ignored the school's shared governance provision when it made the decision.
