Former DNC Chair Alleges Clinton Campaign Took Over Organization, Rigged Nomination Process
POLITICO Magazine published an excerpt from former-Democratic National Committee Chair Donna Brazile’s new book wherein she alleges that the Clinton campaign gained control of a deeply indebted DNC in 2015. She says the financial arrangement between the organization and the campaign changed the nomination process, which ultimately favored former-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton over Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders. We speak with Susan Johnson, Associate Professor of Political Science and the Director of the Center for Political Science and Public Policy Research at UW-Whitewater, about the charges and what it could mean for the Democrats.
