The Concerns Over Huawei And 5G Technology
Indictments against the Chinese telecommunications giant Huawei were unsealed by the U.S. Justice Department this week that charge the company with engaging in alleged corporate espionage. The news comes as multiple countries have either banned or are considering a ban preventing the company from building 5G infrastructure amid security concerns. We talk to a tech reporter about what 5G technology is, and the worries about Huawei’s role in its future.
