WEDC Votes On Foxconn Deal

Wisconsin’s economic development panel has given the green light to a $3 billion incentives package for electronics company Foxconn. The Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC) voted 8-2 Wednesday to approve state subsidies for the Taiwanese manufacturer, which plans to build a manufacturing plant in Racine County. Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reporter Jason Stein reveals specifics of the deal, which became public after the vote.
