With a digital ad titled, “More to be Done,” Governor Scott Walker unofficially kicked off his campaign for a third term on Wednesday. We assess Walker’s prospects for victory and take a look at the crowded Democratic field. We also discuss Walker’s letter to the National Football League urging players to stop protesting the national anthem and instead uniting against domestic violence.

The 60-second ad shows Walker jogging, talking with workers and riding a Harley Davidson motorcycle. He touts Wisconsin’s employment levels, balanced budget, tax cuts and investment in education. However, he insists there’s “more work to be done,” namely investing in worker training, creating more jobs and further improving schools. A transcript of the ad is available here.

Walker said he plans to formally announce his bid the week of Nov. 6.

A Democratic Party of Wisconsin spokeswoman said in a statement that if an honest ad by Walker would show his refusal to accept federal Medicaid expansion funding, cuts to public schools, tax giveaways to the rich and crumbling roads.

Eight Democrats have announced they are running for governor with several more considering it.

Does Walker deserve a third term in office or is it time to hand the keys to someone else? How do you feel about the job Walker has done in his second term?
