Violinist Hannah White

Violinist Hannah White was the winner of the 2018 Final Forte – the final round of the Bolz Young Artist Competition. She is a homeschooled senior from Germantown who has been playing violin for 10 years. She was also the winner of the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra Young Artists / Stars of Tomorrow competition in 2015.

In the WPR performance studio, Ms. White performs the Andante and Allegro from Bach’s Violin Sonata No. 2 in A minor, followed by the first movement from the Sibelius Violin Concerto in D minor with pianist Jessi Kolberg.They end with Tzigane, a rhapsodic tribute to gypsy music by Maurice Ravel.
