Inspector Corravan continues his investigation into the collision between two ships in the Thames while continuing to extricated Colin Doyle from the dangers of the Irish underground. He talks to Cobwallers leader James McCabe about releasing Colin from the Irish underground. He finds out that the helmsman on one of the two ships, the Bywell Castle, was forced away from the wheel by an unknown attacker. He begins to suspect that the Irish Republican Brotherhood was not involved in the disaster. Norman Gilliland reads.
