President Trump's Relationship With The Media
The tense relationship between President Donald Trump and the press continues. In recent news, President Trump asked on Twitter why the Senate isn’t “looking into the Fake News Networks in OUR country to see why so much of our news is just made up-FAKE!” He also suggested that he came up with the word “fake” in an interview with former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee on the Trinity Broadcasting Network over the weekend, which led to a response from Merriam-Webster showing examples of the term “fake news” in history.

EPA Head Announces Rollback Of Obama-Era Clean Power Plan
The Trump Administration announced this week that it would repeal an Obama-era policy to curb greenhouse gas emissions from power plants. The proposal, which will be filed in the Federal Register Tuesday, addresses a promise made by President Trump to do away with the environmental legacy of President Obama, according to The New York Times.
The policy, the Clean Power Plan, was unveiled in 2015 and was expected to cut power sector emissions by 32 percent by 2030. However, the rule was blocked from taking effect last year by the U.S. Supreme Court while it assessed lawsuits claiming that the Obama Administration exceeded legal authority as part of an effort to limit greenhouse gas emissions from power plants.
We talk with a law professor about what this news means for the future of energy policy in the country and the process for the repeal of the policy.
