Leaders of a regional development group in the Milwaukee area recently submitted an application to Amazon in an effort to attract the business’ new campus to the state. Their proposal included several site options in Milwaukee and the surrounding suburbs, according to reporting by Wisconsin Public Radio News.

We talk with an economics professor about the advantages and disadvantages of the area plus consider what an Amazon campus might mean for the state, especially after the Foxconn deal.

Do you want to see Amazon’s new campus end up in Wisconsin? Why or why not? Do you think this would be good for the state? Join our State Capitol Report discussion by emailing ideas@wpr.org, posting on the Ideas Network Facebook page and tweeting at @wprmornings.
