On April 3, voters will make decisions that will affect the state and their communities and reach far beyond Election Day. Join us as we talk to WPR News’ Bridgit Bowden about WPR’s latest special project, “Beyond The Ballot,” which is diving into the biggest issues facing Wisconsinites.

The questions for this project are:

  1. Are you going to vote in this election? Why or why not? Did you vote in 2016?
  2. What is the single most important issue to you in this election? Why?
  3. Do you feel like your elected officials reflect you and the community you live in? Why or why not?
  4. Can you tell me about a time when government did something that helped you? Can you tell me about a time when government did something that hurt you?
  5. What questions do you have for the candidates?
  6. What’s going on in your community that nobody’s talking about?

To answer these, or tell us what’s on your mind this election season, call our hotline at 877-782-8942 or email us at beyondtheballot@wpr.org.
