Host Robin Washington joins Duluth News Tribune arts and entertainment reporter Christa Lawler for a look back at an incredibly trying year for the local arts scene, and ways that creative types responded to persevere, this week on “Simply Superior”,

This year has been unlike any other, and the Twin Ports arts community rose to meet the challenges presented by Covid 19 in various innovative and inspiring ways. Washington and Lawler look back at the virtual performances that brought artists like Charlie Parr, Gaelynn Lee and Rachael Kilgore into our living rooms and provided much needed sustenance for the soul to socially distanced audiences throughout the pandemic.
