Norman interviews tenor Sean Panikkar who will be playing the role of Don José in Bixet’s Carmen with Madison Opera conducted by John DeMain on November 3rd and 5th at the Overture Center in Madison. The American tenor of Sri Lankan heritage made his Metropolitan Opera debut under the baton of James Levine in Manon Lescaut, and his European operatic debut in Mozart’s Zaïde at the Aix-en-Provence Festival.
