A record number of women were sworn into Congress earlier this year. Now, there are 118 women elected to the U.S. House of Representatives and 24 in the Senate. We talk to the author who wrote about these groundbreaking women in her book, “The Firsts: The Inside Story of the Women Who are Reshaping Congress.”
