In the wake of the 2020 Kenosha protests, federal investigators demanded Google hand over data of all cell phones across 13 arson sites. Digital privacy advocates say the technique, known as geofence warrants, is unconstitutional. We discuss location data privacy and how geofence warrants are used by law enforcement.
