We celebrate the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Junior in words and music – It’s Wisconsin’s 34th Annual Tribute, live from the State Capitol Rotunda in Madison.

This event was produced and directed by WPR’s Dr. Jonathan Overby and features: guest speaker Van Jones, Leotha Stanley and Friends, Milwaukee’s Latino Strings Orchestra, announcement of Wisconsin’s 2015 MLK Heritage Award Recipients, University of Illinois Black Chorus, Honor Guard Tribute with Pipers, and the presentation of Wisconsin’s Official Proclamation commemorating the birthday of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
