What The Bombs Sent To Prominent Democrats Say About The Political Climate
A nationwide search is underway for the person who sent several suspicious packages containing explosive devices to prominent Democrats. The parcels were sent to former-President Barack Obama, former-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, and others. Similar devices were also sent to CNN and actor Robert DeNiro. All of the recipients have been critical of current-President Donald Trump and the pattern of recipients has some people wondering if political rhetoric may be inciting violence. We speak with Don Haider-Markel, professor of political science at Kansas University, about the role political polarization might play in the incident.
