Safe Bodies, Strong Voices, a new community service program, is holding an informational meeting from 4-5:15 p.m. Sept. 11.
Safe Bodies, Strong Voices emphasizes empowerment, expression, and connection. We will train in empowerment self defense through Chimera, the self defense program of the Rape Crisis Center.
We will practice self expression through journaling and other forms of creative and artistic expression.
We will create and strengthen community connection within the program and with the greater community.
This pilot program for teen girls is inclusive and free. Come join us at our informational meeting to learn more about this exciting opportunity for young women.
