Delectable and vibrant, don’t let the garden-fresh ingredients fool you. The Medina Night is designed to encourage long, slow sips. Look for a spike of ginger and the lingering minerality of fresh carrots in the finish.
Makes 1 drink
- 1 1/2 ounces fresh carrot juice
- 1 ounce fresh lemon juice
- 3/4 ounce water
- 3/4 ounce ginger syrup
- 1/2 ounce fresh orange juice
- 1/2 ounce honey syrup
In a cocktail shaker, combine the carrot juice, lemon juice, water, ginger syrup, orange juice, and honey syrup and shake with ice. Strain over the large ice cube into a chilled 10-ounce double rocks glass.

Honey Syrup (1:1)
Makes 8 ounces
- ½ cup hot water
- ½ cup honey
In a medium bowl, combine the hot water with honey and stir well. Let cool to room temperature, then pour into a bottle and refrigerate. The syrup is best used within 10 days, but will last up to 3 weeks.

Ginger Syrup
Makes about 4 ounces
- 3 ounces simple syrup
- 1 ounce fresh ginger juice, strained
Combine simple syrup and ginger juice in a small bowl. Stir to combine, then pour into a bottle and refrigerate for up to 1 month, but best used within 2 weeks while the ginger flavor is potent.
