LOX CHEESE
MAKES 12 OZ [340 G]
Ingredients
- 1 Schmear Master Recipe
- ½ cup [56g] lox or nova (cold smoked) salmon, chopped
- 2 tbsp finely chopped fresh chives
- ½ tsp lemon zest
- 1 tsp fresh lemon juice
- ¼ tsp freshly ground black pepper
Instructions
1. In a medium bowl, add the schmear, salmon, chives, lemon zest and juice, and pepper. Stir with a fork until thoroughly combined, with pieces of salmon evenly distributed and still a bit chunky.
2. 2 Pack the lox cheese into a ramekin or two, cover, and chill until ready to serve. It will keep for 1 week in the refrigerator
