Anne Katz, executive director of Arts Wisconsin, joined Al Ross to provide a conference preview and to highlight the important economic impact the arts have in Wisconsin. The conference takes place on Friday, June 21 at the Northern Lakes Center for the Arts in Amery.
Special guest Theresa Hillis, CEO of the YMCA of the Chippewa Valley, visited the show to define the new entity that combines multiple services and facilities at the YMCA, helping to create a more innovative, expansive and efficient operation.
Correspondent Jim Oliver welcomed Cheryl Starr, director of A Midsummer Night’s Dream, the next St. Croix Art Barn production in Osceola. The show opens on June 20.
Cullen Ryan, producer of Clear Water Comedy, joined the program with a rundown of what’s to come for the regional troupe. The group is well-known for bringing comedy acts to area venues having recently added the Mabel Tainter Center for the Arts in Menomonie.
