Long wait to testify at Hurley hearing leaves some unhappy

An overflow crowd of more than 400 people dwindled to less than 100 by the time a legislative committee got around to public testimony. The Assembly Jobs Committee hearing yesterday on overhauling state mining regulations heard five hours of expert testimony last night in Hurley before allowing public comment. Mike Simonson was there.
