President Trump Signs Executive Orders Approving Keystone XL And Dakota Access Pipelines
On Tuesday, President Donald Trump signed an executive order, reviving the Keystone XL pipeline that’s been the subject of years of debate. The president also signed a document clearing the way for the government to approve the Dakota Access pipeline in North Dakota. This pipeline led to months of protests when the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe came out against construction of the project less than a mile from its reservation. We talk to an environmental policy expert about this news.
