Governor Scott Walker highlighted southeast Wisconsin’s developing water technology industry during one of his stops in China this week.
Walker told Wisconsin reporters via a conference call from Shanghai that he was looking to help Wisconsin companies enter the Chinese market.
“But also, increasingly, we think there’s a good role to play in terms of investors from China investing in Wisconsin companies, particularly startups and emerging companies.”

This is Walker’s first overseas trade mission as governor.He is due back in Wisconsin next week.
