James M. Tinjum, PE, is an associate professor in the Department of Engineering Professional Development of UW-Madison and provides program direction for continuing education short courses in wind energy resource assessment, site planning, design, and construction. Dr. Tinjum is responsible for outreach, research, and continuing engineering education in the areas of geotechnical, geoenvironmental, and sustainable engineering with an emphasis on transmitting practical research applications directly to the engineering community.
