Doreen Weisenhaus is director of the Media Law and Policy Initiative at Northwestern’s Medill School of Journalism. She also teaches in the school of law. She taught media law and ethics in journalism at the University of Hong Kong for 17 years. Weisenhaus also directed an educational resource for students, scholars, lawyers, journalists and other media professionals. She’s a former city editor of The New York Times. Between college and grad school, Weisenhaus worked at the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
