Ariana Kelly is a writer based in Los Angeles. Although she earned an M.F.A in poetry long ago, most of her writing now is creative nonfiction. She’s interested in obsolescence, health, landscape, architecture, technology, fashion, rural and urban life, among many other subjects. In September of 2015 Bloomsbury published her first book, a cultural history of phone booths. Kelly is currently working on two book projects, one about rural New Hampshire, carpentry and childhood, and another about the intersections between subjectivity, place, and health.
