POSITION SUMMARY
The WPR Music department seeks part-time help to assist with digitizing our large collection of classical, folk and world music CDs. The work will include ripping audio files from CDs, editing them as needed, and importing them into our broadcast software system for use on air. It will also include updating entries in our music database once recordings have been digitized. This person will work directly with the network Program Director and members of the WPR music staff. A knowledge of music is preferred, but not required
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be a current UW Madison student.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES

Excellent communication (oral and written) and organizational skills.

Demonstrated experience multi-tasking and handling different internal project deadlines.

General knowledge of/interest in music preferred.

Experience using software database systems and digital audio editing systems preferred. A knowledge of music is preferred, but not required.
