While the number of Wisconsin high school students enrolling at state universities continues to decline, some campuses have seen surges of out-of-state students. Over the past decade, nonresident freshmen enrollments at UW System schools has grown by more than 63 percent, while the number of freshmen from Wisconsin has fallen by 20 percent.
