The University of Wisconsin System says a $2 million donation will be used to improve online courses this fall as state universities move more classes online due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The funding will go toward faculty professional development and purchasing laptops, tablets and Wi-Fi hotspots for students who don't have access to the technology.
